Gite Emeraude Design & Nature is a 150 m2 contemporary architect’s villa which can host 2 to 9 people. Designed in an environmental and ecological integration approach, the house is fully open to the outside nature thanks to a glass façade overlooking the river, to enjoy the natural surroundings of Gorges du Tarn.

In summer, the living room and the covered terrace form a large living space nestled in nature. Borders between interior and exterior disappear to live a true return to nature.
This exceptional house with contemporary architecture offers you 4 bedrooms individually decorated, equipped with a dressing and a fully glazed south facade overlooking the river and Tarn valley nature…

You can enjoy a bathroom on each floor and, on the terrace, a spa and outdoor shower when you’re back from the beach !

Ecology and environmental approach

Sensitive to environmental issues and in order to respect the surrounding nature, this luxury house has been built with the new standards of low consumption. Insulation, exposure of living rooms, interior fittings have been designed in this purpose. Wooden blades protect the glass facade of the first floor and the flat roof facilitates the integration of the house into its environment. All the rooms have electric shutters which allow an easy concealment and isolation if necessary. Inside, double insulation, quiet floors and isophonic doors preserve calm and privacy of each host.
Valves have the water saving device and hunts turbofan.
We invite you to participate in waste sorting (recycling bins, composter at your disposal) and we provide you with certified ecological household products.
The flora and fauna of the river near the villa are rich but fragile : for a best observation and discovery, we provide you specific books.

Private beach and fishing…

Gite Emeraude is built waterfront and offers a private beach on the Tarn located below the house. Of course, you can bathe in the river : the water is shallow and ideal for swimming on beach side or diving on the other side. You can also simply enjoy the serenity of the place to see ducks, herons, beavers and other wildlife of the river that regularly come to visit us …

Fan of fishing ! … down the gite, Tarn river is ranked first category and renowned for trout fishing. You can purchase a temporary license (day / week).
