Guests staying in all accommodations will start the day fuelled by a delicious breakfast of seasonal fruit and juices, homemade jams and artisanal pastries, prepared by the chef David Charrier.

During your stay, we will be pleased to suggest you some visits and activities to discover the surroundings of Troplong Mondot.

The Vineyard House

House with sitting room and two double bedrooms
Down a lane, nestled amongst the vines, this house is typical of the local landscape. A 20-minute walk from the centre of Saint-Émilion, it offers an intimately charming setting on Troplong Mondot’s ‘terroir’. The sweetness of life paces the days spent here, whether by the fireside over the winter months or on the private terrace in the summer.

The Art Studio

Suite with sitting room and two double bedrooms
Christine Valette, an emblematic figure of Troplong Mondot, enjoyed painting from the first floor of this house. The view is never-ending, stretching from the park that surrounds the château all the way across to the village of Saint-Émilion, via the vineyards. The cosy sitting room, with its fireplace, invites you to sit back and daydream.

Edouard

Double bedroom with reduced mobility access
Tucked under the wisteria that covers the side of the house, this dark panelled bedroom, with its late 19th century decor and its carmine fabrics, is a nod to the Edouard Troplong’s time here. He added his surname to the estate inherited from his uncle.

The Bell Tower Bedroom

Large double bedroom with a sitting room and desk
From this vast bedroom, nestled away under the rooftops, the view is postcard worthy. Warm and cosy, it invites one to escape daily life whilst admiring sumptuous sunsets going down over the horizon.

Les Belles Perdrix Restaurant

Nestled in the heart of the Troplong Mondot vineyard, the Michelin-star restaurant, Les Belles Perdrix, offers a rare and sublime setting from which to enjoy an interlude and experience the cuisine of Chef David Charrier.

Favouring accuracy and getting to the heart of the matter so as to enhance the flavours, such is the goal of David Charrier. His cuisine transcends each and every detail to create an intimately linked ensemble revealing the richness of the different savours.

Inspired by encounters and experiences, he has succeeded in creating, at Les Belles Perdrix, a place true to his image: sensitive and determined. The Chef interprets, with complete freedom of mind, Troplong Mondot’s quest for excellence.

Here the light makes the resources vibrate and multiplies the perspectives. The huge bay window, stretching towards the horizon, encourages the vineyard to invite itself to the table. Through the materials and the combination of lines, the interior architect, Bruno Moinard, has succeeded in integrating poetry into a landscape of sheer beauty.
