Overview

Wya Point Resort rests on pristine, private beaches surrounded by 600 acres of old-growth forest on Ucluelet First Nation’s traditional territory, welcoming visitors with luxurious lodge accommodations and waterfront yurts.

Experience the rugged, natural beauty of the west coast.

This natural, west coast adventure lodging is located only a few kilometres outside Ucluelet and minutes from the world-famous Pacific Rim National Park.

We share this land with more than each other. This is why we have built our lodges to be raised on cement stilts similar to Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ homes built 50 years ago. We believe in minimal impact to the land and embracing our past to respectfully share traditional knowledge with future generations. Our lodges reflect our art and stories, and our employees work, and live, on traditional territory. Our commitment to environmental sustainability extends from the design of the lodges to responsible, eco-hospitality practices.

At Wya Point we celebrate our culture and invite guests to discover our traditions, our values, and our land. You’ll experience a stay like no other.

We have nine timber lodges that were built to LEED Platinum standards using locally harvested red cedar. Each lodge is uniquely designed by a local carver and artist, and named for an animal of the Yuu-thlu-ilth-aht culture.

The lodges come equipped with a full kitchenette, fireplace, bathroom, bedroom (1 or 2), cedar deck and chairs, and floor to ceiling windows that overlook Ucluth beach.

Our 15 beachfront yurts are open year-round and have private access to Wya beach. All come with a gas stove for heat, cedar deck and chairs, linens and basic kitchen essentials.

While our yurts and lodges have daily housekeeping, guests are advised to bring their own potable drinking water and food.
